Referrals
NHS referrals should be addressed to the Appointments office and if a lung cancer is suspected, this should be marked as “Red Flag”, which should be seen within 2 weeks.
Private consultations can be arranged through Dundonald Consulting rooms or through Dr Rowan’s personal secretary. It would be helpful if a referral letter was available before the consultation to aid planning and review of electronic records. An up to date Chest x-ray where indicated is also very helpful.
Dr Rowan is happy to discuss any referral from a GP if there are any questions either through email or telephone. Referrals can be emailed to info@respiratoryni.co.uk or faxed to the Ulster hospital (02890550436).
Please Note: Dr Rowan does not see Medico-legal patients.
