The recent pandemic situation has had a significant impact on the delivery of respiratory services. When you attend for an appointment please ensure you have no symptoms including, a high temperature, a new continuous cough* or a loss of taste or smell. If you do have any of these symptoms, please follow public health advice regarding self-isolation and testing. Dr Rowan would recommend using the StopCOVID NI app in addition to this advice.
There will be some changes at the clinic including social distancing, spacing of appointments, strict hand and respiratory hygiene measures, and we would also request you wear a face covering if you are able to do so. Dr Rowan will be wearing a face covering until any advice changes.
It is important that if you have any queries to contact Dundonald Consulting Rooms on 02890484840 in the first instance if you are unsure or have any questions. Space will be limited, you may have to wait a little longer, and some consultations may also run over time, so please be patient.
*Many patients will have a chronic cough. In these circumstances this is not a COVID-19 symptom, but again if you are unsure, please discuss with you GP or follow public health advice if you are unsure.
